Romantic and sentimental Victorian five stone ADORE ring which spells out the first letter of each gemstone in the following linear pattern: Amethyst-Diamond-Opal-Ruby-Emerald. Like their sister rings, REGARD and DEAREST rings, ADORE rings conveyed a message of eternal love to the wearer. Such band rings, which spelled out romantic words in gemstones, were extremely popular during this time period. The gemstones on our ring are old mine cuts except for the opal which is en cabochon. ADORE rings are the rarest of the message rings. Our ring is stamped 18 carat and has an unusual and appealing openwork detail in the gold band.
