Paris in the Belle Époque was a period in the history of the city between the years 1871 to 1914, until the First World War. This period realized the construction of the Eiffel Tower, the Paris Métro, the Paris Opera. The expression Belle Époque means beautiful era and represents an earlier time of optimism, elegance, and progress. Our Belle Epoque ring has 3 large open backed round set gemstones arranged in a North-South pattern on silver, with 6 small square set diamonds flanking the gemstones on each side, further backed by gold open work visible on the underside. All of this open-work masterfully ensconces the ring in light and air. The top portion of the ring connects to a wide and slightly ribbed gold band. With it's underside revealing a diagonal sort of open lattice gold work upon which the square diamonds are set, our ring represents all the elements of the Belle Epoque. The ring is a size 8, easily resizeable and can be worn everyday. Gemological Information: Cushion cut diamond natural .5 carats (50 pts) H color S/I Cushion Cut Burmese Natural Ruby, 53 points, unheated Emerald Cut Colombian Emerald of .37 carats Other diamonds: 15 points total weight.
